The only reason Cuba is making these demands is because they are certain that BO will cave.
Isn’i it obvious Cuba wants nothing to do with the U.S. unless it involves huge donations.

I’m not sure how much of this Congress would have to approve. But giving them Gitmo, then taking some action to cease broadcasts of US TV and radio to Cuba is really just doing the work of the communist dictators for them.

Obama has never met a dictator that he didn’t love. We stopped having a two party system when Obama was elected.
I think this was in the can a long time ago. Remember how those communist Code Pink were always demanding that Gitmo be closed? Then when Obama got in he started letting prisoners out. Then he started taking about resuming diplomatic relations with Cuba.
The communist Code Pink wanted Gitmo closed so that it could be given to Cuba when US/Cuba relations were normalized. Obama and Code Pink wanted to give Gitmo to Cuba for some time. I don’t know if any spying on Cuba goes on but that could be a motive.
