I quit facebook, after being on it for four months, years ago. It is a waste of time and such a narcissistic tool. Frankly, I have thought most are being paid by OFA or the Soros front groups.
They are getting more sophisticated, if you can call it that. Some of the robo-trolls are programmed to argue with each other, usually with lots of all-caps and four letter words. So they will start screaming back and forth at each other on a thread until the site just takes down the comments.

They’re pushing for their own interest: big government spending. They push hardest for candidates who have no record of cutting such spending and would never promise, for example, to cut public school teacher pay and jobs. And they push for those same smooth talking candidates with insults and other fallacies.
