A man has been arrested in the shooting death of a woman who was walking along San Francisco’s Embarcadero with her family Wednesday evening.
Texas resident Francisco Sanchez had been detained as a person of interest south along the Embarcadero shortly after the shooting at Pier 14 after witnesses on the pier snapped his photo, which was quickly forwarded to officers investigating the killing.

This is what the father said:
It was a battle, but she just didn’t make it,” she said. “It was horrific, but we knew the minute they came to talk to us, it wasn’t good. But it was so nice to go in and be with her.”
Sullivan said that in their final moments together, she softly touched her daughter’s face — a face she used to paint when the young woman was a little girl.
“We have deep faith,” Jim Steinle said, adding, “Our faith isn’t to the point where we’re ready to forgive.”
Her final words to her father:
“He immediately began CPR before paramedics arrived and rushed his daughter into an ambulance. Two hours later, she died at San Francisco General Hospital, said her mother, 69-year-old Liz Sullivan.
“She just kept saying, ‘Dad, help me, help me,’” Sullivan said. “It’s just unbelievable. It’s surreal. I don’t think I’ve totally grasped it.”
Well let’s hope that the family of this young woman has the courage to take this to the press and out SF as caring more about illegal alien criminals than the lives of its own citizens.
SF has compassion for criminal aliens but not enough compassion for the victims of these aliens to jail and deport repeat offenders

Here’s what I learned from a comment from the SF Gate:
“Update: ICE officials told the media that it released this monster to the City of San Francisco to deal with a drug charge against the perp. They specifically told the Sanctuary city to call them for a detainer when they were done. Consistent with liberal pro-criminal policy, the City released him on the street.
For all you who are saying this had NOTHING to do with SF, you are wrong again. The feds were set to pick this guy up yet again, and our leadership released him because illegal immigrants are above the law and apparently have more rights than US citizens.”
The family should sue SF for wrongful death of their daughter.
And even the press was physically attacked:
“Earlier Thursday, two television news crews reporting on the killing were mugged at the scene, with a masked gunman pistol-whipping a camera operator. The robber took cameras from KNTV and KTVU before he jumped into a black BMW and fled.”
What an amazing man, he watched his daughter die in his arms, I can’t imagine the horror. I heard she also told her Dad “Please don’t let me die” poor young woman, she was a beautiful young lady, snuffed out by an illegal alien scum bag
when are the american people going to wake up and stop all this mess,or will they ever?
Sarah, I am reading the comments on Yahoo News. Most are like you and mourn the death of this bright and beautiful girl and are incensed at the alien and SF for providing him sanctuary.

He walked up to her and shot her in the back. The sight of her long blond hair must have set him off - or something.
He looks like the typical homeless in SF. There are thousands of them.
Also, they did not find the gun yet.
