Leftists 'never let a crisis', or tragedy, 'go to waste'. They make blanket statements declaring tenuous or flat out fatuous connections to their political opponents in every case - its always their opponents and opponents policies to blame.

In this example there is the most direct connection possible between leftwing political policies and real consequences - and of course the progressives squeal like piggies when someone points it out.
