Aren’t PS numbers just a New York City thing? I’ve never heard of schools being numbered anywhere else.
In the old days Baltimore definitely did it.
I’m sure most cities did. Don’t know about extraurban schools.
It’s risky and alienating using names on schools. Obviously.
