The condition of the pilots of the planes is unknown at this time. There have been no reports confirming any other passengers.

Must have been a Stealth Cessna.

Years ago my Brother and a Friend were Flying a Cessna 337 to San Diego from Van Nuys. They were flying along the Coast and were in contact with ATC on their planned Flight Path.

My Brother was in the right seat and he saw a glint of something coming in from the Ocean. It was a Military Jet Fighter and when they realized what was happening, they figured that was it.

The Military Jet Pilot thankfully saw them in time and pulled up in plenty of time. They did encounter some Turbulence after he passed over them, but there was no soiled Underwear. They were sitting Ducks and very lucky.

My map subscription is expired .. it’d be unusual for a moa to be that close ,, 11 north of a city center? More likely on a low level military air route ,, there’s a Charleston Executive that has military and civilian users south of the city... looks like an old WW2 Navy training or submarine watching airport by the runway layout. KCHS is 9 NW of the city ,,, 9+3=12 ,, F16 could have been busy with landing prep if that was his destination...

This tragedy occurred because the state legislature has not been acting fast enough to remove the Confederate Battle Flag from the capitol grounds.

Yeah, I was Flying into John Wayne with my Boss in his Beechcraft. We were following a Commuter Twin Engine Jet in and ATC told us to back off because of the Wake Turbulence.

That’s the same Airport where the Owner of In and Out Burger and his CFO were killed when their Private Jet was flipped over by the Wake Turbulence from a 737.

They crashed in an empty Lot in between Two Car Dealerships. It was a Miracle that nobody on the Ground was killed.

Their Dead Jim. No way they survived that unless Cessna 150’s are outfitted with Ejection Seats.
