I have no idea what they gain.

Maybe just “playing the game” of screwing up people’s lives is all they gain.

Although, I suspect, when the dust settles, we’ll see some huge financial gains by the PTB.

That's true...it would depend on what lens you use. But you're still talking “doom” which is not what I was referencing....

I guess it would be best said.....Nobody thought Israel could possibly become a nation “In one day” either...but it did happen in one day. Now there were many things which led up to that day...nevertheless it happened in one day...just as it was written.

Throughout scripture prophetic situations have time and again come about as written and said they would...so I would anticipate that the rest will play out as written also.

Keep in mind that many who saw and heard Jesus and were eyewitnesses to the many indisputable miracles yet still rejected Him.. and it wasn’t for lack of evidence.... Likewise today there will be people who will deny what he says from ....endtimes...to Damascus falling...to Russia attaching Israel...to an alignment of nations...it really won't matter what the evidence is...it will be denied or excuses otherwise.

Matthew 24:42-44 ...Probably sums it up....."Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
