Female transgender soldiers "might well be able" to serve on the front line, an Army chief has said.
The Armed Forces have not yet faced such a situation, Lt Gen Andrew Gregory said, but added that it would make a "very interesting test case".
Women are currently barred from serving in the infantry and in armoured units, but combat roles could be opened up to females by next year after a Government-commissioned report recommended such a move.
The Chief of Defence Personnel, who admitted that there are still pockets of homophobia in the forces, said he wanted to make the organisation as inclusive as possible.
He told Pink News: "We do not yet have any female transgender people serving in the infantry.

Hmm. A male who thinks he’s a woman, would he be given the male military training or female. I’m guessing men and women in the UK military have different training when they enter the military???

Okay, wait. Does that mean a woman who has undergone an addadictomy might be able to serve on the front line or does it mean a man who underwent a lopitoffomy might be able to serve on the front line?
On second thought, ferget it. If I ever get to the point where this stuff actually makes sense to me, I'm getting off the planet.

Is it “homophobia” if it involves “transgender”? I thought that related to homosexuals. How is that “fear of same”? Trying to keep up with political correctness is enough to make one’s head spin.

A guy pretending to be a woman still has the same male stamina and strength he always did. So why would he not be able to physically perform on the front lines?
The question is, why would you want a mentally ill man on the front lines? Or even in the military?
The article also mentioned the topic of women in combat. There are reasons we have not been placed in combat, and they are not all sexist. There is the fundamental fact that we are small and not nearly as strong as men. As one woman once told me, years ago, the Army hired me for my brains, not my physical prowess.

There is no transgender. When the chromosomes change then it will be transgender, until then, it is a mental disorder.

I watched a program on Frontlne last night which opined that the terrific pace of technological advances in communications is driving mass hysteria in the developed countries worldwide. Kind of like our attempts to keep up with technology and artificial intelligence is confounding the human psyche and the ability to reason - e.g - in 20 years, the human race will not remember how to perform the most basic functions. It’s was very interesting
Just dressing like a man brings all the musscle strength needed to accomplish the mission. Case closed!!
