Donald Trump's position on immigration does not seem to be hurting the real-estate developer's standing in the Republican presidential primary.
Two new polls have him in first place among registered Republican voters.
The latest poll arrived Thursday. In the Economist/YouGov poll, Trump holds 15% of the Republican vote nationally ahead of former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida (11%).
The good news for Trump doesn't stop there.

We can talk up the virtues of illegal immigration, Common Core, redistribution and whatever NWO approved positions he takes next.
I really like Cruz I think in a debate the solid candidates will be able handle Christie. Christie is good with the press and words so it will be interesting for sure. Ten candidates in the first debate is going to be rough.
This is a message to the GOP: This is us looking at you.
Slight technicality: Those statements coming from Trump, I believe them. He was the first to utter them. Coming from anyone else except Cruz, I will NOT believe them. I learned my lesson in the recent mid-term elections and the swift sellout by the usual Rino suspects. It’s Cruz or Trump, or no dice. All the rest are waffling wannabe BS artists.
Cruz/Trump third party has the potential to DESTROY the WASHINGTONIANS.

I believe Trump IS serious. I saw a short video clip of a Trump event somewhere earlier this week. He had his whole family come on stage and kissed each one, sons included.
Regarding taking a pay cut; At what point don’t the dollars seem so important? I’m guessing that it’s in the neighborhood of $9 Billion. I think he has groomed his sons and daughter to take over the business(es) and run them as he would.
The clincher for me was just this week, when in response to questions regarding the NBC, PGA, NASCAR, et al breaking the business deals they’d had with him, he said, “Restoring America to her former greatness is more important than my business.”
You may be right. Trump is saying a lot of the things I have been thinking for a while and, as a bonus, the reactions he is getting from the media and members of the uniparty elite is making the election a lot of fun to watch.
I can’t see that happening. I think Trump would make an interesting Treasury Secretary but I don’t think he has much value beyond that. I could be wrong, we’ll see.
I know, but there is something I like about him. Maybe it is just home state basis and the fact that when he tells people to shut the hell up I get where he’s coming from.
One thing I do know, he has done whatever he could to put NJ first - and that included sucking up to Obama - which I didn’t like. But at least he had the balls to do it and try to help those people.
I don’t think Christie will translate well across the country. I can’t see soft spoken folks in the midwest digging his style. But I do think he’d make a great Attorney General.
