I think that snippet of a song “Dirty Maggie May” is on the “Let It Be” album and I’m believe it may be an old English folk song about a not so nice lady British thief.
You got it! I think they needed a fill-in. I goofed up the last line: it should be “two pound ten a week then was my pay” and I’m gonna blame it on my keypad, lol!
