Too many people use the word “Hate” too easily. Look how easily it is bandied about on web forums, if you don’t love someone you must hate them. Ariana dislikes American eating habits but she used a poor choice of words.
Her quote: “What the f____ is that? [to the clerk bringing out fresh doughnuts]. I hate Americans. I hate America”.
“Poor choice of words” doesn’t come close to explaining her July 4th quote. She was the one supposedly buying the doughnuts. If she loathes people who eat them what was she doing there, with a boyfriend that wanted to eat doughnuts?
