How Did the Illegal Immigrant Who Shot and Killed Kate Steinle Get a Federal Agent’s Gun?
Daily Sheeple ^ | 7/10/2015 | Melissa Dykes

Last week, 45-year-old San Francisco pier shooting suspect Francisco Sanchez shot and killed Kate Steinle while she was out walking with her father. She died in front of him.

Sanchez, here illegally from Mexico, has seven felony convictions and has been deported five times.

So how did he wind up with a federal agent’s gun? Reports say he got it by breaking into the car of a law enforcement officer with the Bureau of Land Management on June 27th.

Perhaps the real question is, why was Sanchez here walking free if he had been deported five times?

Real Clear Politics is reporting that the feds knew Sanchez was in San Francisco and had asked the city to keep him in custody. However, because it is a so-called “sanctuary city,” San Fran officials refused to do so, leading to what can only be considered totally predictable and needless violence.

Fox Reporter Jesse Watters confronted the San Francisco Board of Supervisors over this situation below:

(Watch video at link)

For the record, Sanchez told KGO-TV the shooting was a sleeping pill-fueled accident.

Sounds like the old Red Foxx bit where he was in court, charged with stabbing some one. When the judge asked for his side of the story he explained,” Your Honor, I was standing in the sidewalk just minding my own business, I had my knife out cleaning my fingernails. This clown comes running around the corner, not looking, and ran right into my knife.”

“Backwards”

“Three times”

I am at a loss to understand why a BLM employee has a government issued firearm?

***********

The BLM fields a force of approximately 200 Law Enforcement Rangers (uniformed officers)
and 70 Special Agents (criminal investigators) who enforce a wide range of laws and
regulations in the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes affecting public
lands resources. These crimes include mineral resource theft; wilderness area
violations; hazardous materials dumping; archaeological and paleontological resource
theft and vandalism; cultivation, manufacture, smuggling, and use of illegal drugs;
timber, forest product, and native plant theft; off-highway vehicle use; alcohol
related crimes; and wildland arson.

You should be on a range with them sometime. OMG I now just go home if it’s cop shop day at the range. I have seen two AD in the last year, 1 sheriff 1 local cop. I’ll take my chances on the street thank you officer.

As a 5 time deportee, our Mexican friend was more likely to know that than the average US citizen was probably targeting government vehicles for stowed weapons.

If they get caught a second time, add another “I” to their forehead

I guess I'm not as tolerant as you are.

I would deport them once, for "free". The second time I would incarcerate them for 6 months, then deport them. The third time I would put a rope around their neck and drop them through the scaffolding. Three strikes and they're out. For good.

They're recidivist criminals who have no business breathing good air and they are more trouble than they are worth.

Have a buddy that spends a lot of time on the range and does some classes. He repeatedly tells me cops/LEO are the absolute worst when it comes to safely handling firearms, the most prevalent fault is keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, constantly sweeping in an unsafe manner.

Why does the City of San Francisco get to violate federal law? I don’t. You don’t.

Laws do not apply to the political elite. They must be free to act as they see fit.

I think we should tattoo every illegal alien who is caught here with a 3” tall letter “I” in the middle of their forehead. Maybe that would make it easier to identify them. If they get caught a second time, add another “I” to their forehead.

The first time, it gets tattooed. The second time, it gets branded.

The local boys in blue left their targets up at my local range. Good deal for me because the center of mass part of the target was completely devoid of holes. There were holes all over the paper. I left my calling card with a 15 rd one inch group from my .357mag.

Obama has drones watching us while ISIS holds victory parades of armored corps without an A-10 in the sky and our borders are invaded with flowers and EBTs for the conquerors. It’s clear who Washington feels the enemy is.

The national debate is a thin veneer for what may become a knifefight. The Dems’ star is waning, but Sun Tzu had advice about a cornered rat.

Gee. What a nice, diverse, even mix of ethnicities (and even a handicapped memeber) on that board.

BTW, that pic is from 2010 and doesn't represent the current roster of Liberal Fascists on the board.

See how effective all those gun control laws are at protecting people from gun violence. Why if some law abiding person had a firearm they might have shot that poor innocent illegal.

Perhaps when people realize that the police because of political correctness are no longer going to protect them and government officials are selling them out, they will take things into their own hands. I could see in cases like this vigilante justice might return. I don't think too many people would have a problem if this POS were lynched

Just got my brother in-law a Smith .357 6 in. chrome with Paks used. That damned Tennasee ridge runner can put six in a half dollar size hole. Still love my 17 rounds out of the my XDM .40.

My 686+ 4" has nearly 20,000 rds down the barrel. My usual indoor routine was 35 at 15 yds and the remaining 15 at 7 yds (in-house distance). The 35 would be under 1". The 15 set would be a single fat hole that wouldn't accommodate the tip of my little finger. All fired single action, slow fire. At 25 yds with the standard pistol target and 148 gr DEWC 38SPL hand loads, I could routinely get 96 pt on a 10-shot set. It's a very good firearm. The Ruger MKII 6 7/8" slabside (.22LR) is equally capable for rimfire matches. For competition, I like to use a pin-hole aperture on my glasses to flatten the optical plane. No caffeine before matches either :-)

I like the standard Hogue Monogrip on the 686+. The MKII currently has the cocobolo grips with the thumb rest. The Volquartsen Volthane grip was my desired upgrade before I left San Diego. There are no equivalent weekly centerfire/rimfire competitions going on in Pocatello.
