It will place immigrant populations in government housing in suburban neighborhoods.
We have already seen a bit of this in Bellingham with the state plan for early release of felons. They send them back to halfway houses in their home town. Residents of Bellingham were very vocal in their opposition to the halfway houses.
Here in NJ they don’t even need government housing; homeowners of single-family homes with grown children put in illegal apartments for help with their huge property tax bills, while owners of multi-family homes want ANYONE renting from them - the state is bleeding Americans. A lot of housing construction has stopped, and there is still a surplus of foreclosures and such.
There is just no incentive for young people to stay here, and if they do, they will probably remain childless - and thus don’t need to buy a home.
