I’m not sure what this other guy ncalburt’s problem is (or where his brain went) but I just wanted some good backing to refute her stats, which I got in spades here.

The entire point of what Chavez is saying is idiotic. Her Premise stinks to high Heaven and she hasn’t a Clue.
If the Illegal Invaders were not here in the first place, Lives would have been saved, Prisons would be less crowded and the Taxpayers of this Country would be saving Billions of Dollars in Giveaways.
Is this Rocket Science? Comparing Crimes committed by Legal Americans versus the Illegal Invaders is like comparing Apples and Oranges. There is no correlation, the Illegal Invaders aren’t even supposed to be here, period.

I agree. One they have broke the law crossing the Mexican border illegally, their lawlessness does not stop. I wonder if any of our fine Freepers have and hard data on what their level of criminal activity is. I heard Ann Coulter say that she had a hard time finding the figures. I wonder if anyone has run across any good numbers.
By virtue of being in the country ILLEGALLY, by definition, 100% have committed a crime. And incarceration rates in federal prisons paints a much different picture.

Mexico does NOT have open borders. But does Mexico even know who is who among those crossing into the USA? Why would Mexico, or any country for that matter, not want to get rid of its criminals? What is the role of the drug cartels at the border?
Right off the bat Chavez sweeps away the illegal status of those under discussion, which leads one to question all of the statistics mentioned.
Chavez has been a closet member of La Raza for a long time.
Every one that crosses the border is a criminal — after all, it is ILLEGAL immigration.
