Not your job to prove anything.. just your job to listen to FReepers who think their ideas are sacrosanct and if they were here longer than you... then your ideas have no merit. That is the pecking order on FR... enforced pretty well by moderators.

Far from sacrosanct, I repeatedly ask lesser evil types to back up their statements with facts. And to prove my statements wrong if they disagree. Because you know, that who this whole process works. If you put a statement out there on a forum, people are free to debate it, mock it or print it out and frame it.
If that’s an issue for you, maybe the whole politics discussion thing isn’t for you. On the other hand, there is a group that ‘feels’ they should speak without being questioned. We call them liberals.
Thanks for the gentle reminder. Reading and learning is more enjoyable then spending time proving a point. I’m always looking to pick up the little unknown facts.
