Gowdy has been effectively stonewalled by Obama and ignored by the Republican elites. He’s dead in the water but can’t do anything without at least a little support. Washington has been like that since the GOP victory in 2014 has been itself thwarted by Republican “leadership”. Hillary will come down even harder when she assumes the throne.
