First of all, anti-illegal is not the same as anti-Hispanic and the mistake by the reporter is intentional.

Secondly, Trump is trolling the GOP. He is buds with Chuckie Schmuck Schumer, gives money to the Clintons and the true purpose of Trump and many in the GOP race is to splinter enough segments away from Cruz as to deny him the momentum he needs to get the nomination and hand over the nomination to Jeb and sure failure.

“I had the same concerns in the beginning about Trump being another Perot. “

Perot’s campaign imploded due to the egos of many grass-roots ‘supporters’.

Notice how Ted and the other candidates are being ignored by the press right now.
Cruz announced before Trump. He had every opportunity to be heard loud and clear.

Cruz is a milquetoast lawyer with NO charisma...Other than that he's great.

BTW, he was in the news yesterday (while Trump had them packed to the rafters) for taking the NYT to task over his book listing...Now there's some hard hitting shit the voters have been waiting for...See what I mean?

“Trump will get the vast majority of the Hispanic vote.”

In the last elections phone banks were humming with frightening stories about how the republicans were going to take away the government benefits of the old Jews in Florida.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the masses ...

You really have to wonder. The trolling angle fits but I honestly think his ego is big enough for him to just get caught up in the attention he's garnering.

I would say that hardly any Hispanic family doesn’t know someone who has been affected by illegal alien crime.

Phone banks may come and go, but having lost a father, mother, son, daughter, extended family member, or friend, will speak louder than the idiots on the phone.

Democrats couldn't be more giddy.

But not for what the guy who typed in those comments says.

The 1990s: Prop 187 and the creation of one-party California deja vu. Only this time it's nationwide.

Make the National Republican Party into safe Democrat wannabes to assure their inclusion in the ruling class.. even as second class members. Like in California.

Twenty years ago national Republicans were out here in California calling us Prop187 voters stupid, bigots, xenophobes, purveyors of hate, destroyers of the Republican Party.. and worse.

Ever since the California Republicans followed the advice of the aforementioned "experts" I think that there has been two Republicans win state-wide elections and one of them is Schwarzenkennedy.

California is a one-party state including the Republican Democrat-wannabes. It happens in California first then . . . .

The leaders are getting madder and madder because of the fix that puts them in: They can't afford to let Trump make a mockery of the party, but they can't openly rip their own voters for supporting him or try to tear him down publicly.

IOW they can't get away with the usual lies.

“Anti-Hispanic bigotry plays well with a chunk of the Republican primary electorate.”

What drooling drivel. The anger is not against the Mexicans, but against the bureaucrats and politicians who leave the door wide open.

Further, by pressing the issue as Trump has, it cause the people manning those phone banks to be seen for what they really are.

This will be very destructive to the Democrat party.

It’s about time someone opened up with both barrels against the Democrats and their failed policies.

“Phone banks may come and go,”

They will do the phone banks shortly before the election so as to whip up fear with too short of a time to be discounted or fade away.

Border security has nothing whatsoever to do with bigotry.

Pure Genius.

The real-estate mogul vaulted into the top tier of Republican presidential candidates by becoming a megaphone for immigration hard-liners. That's revealed an ugly truth that party leaders have been trying to suppress in their pursuit of Latino voters: Anti-Hispanic bigotry plays well with a chunk of the Republican primary electorate.

The one thing he says in the article that is not true but sizes up what the party leaders, the GOPe, are worried about.

The Republican Party leaders do not want their candidates out on the stump giving the Liberal pundits and MSM ammunition to paint the GOP as racist.

Of course if you as a citizen do not want your tax dollars spent on feeding and providing medical care to illegal aliens of any race you must be a racist.

If you don’t want pregnant woman crossing the border just to have a baby on US soil so that the baby can magically become a US citizen at the moment of birth you must be a racist.

If you don’t want illegal immigrant children sitting in your child’s classroom spreading lice, scabies, tuberculosis or polio you must be a racist.

If you don’t want criminal illegal aliens or chronic drug abuser illegal aliens or criminal gang member illegal aliens coming across an unprotected international border and in to our country and killing your family members you must be a racist.

Yep, we’re all racist all right.

If they want the press to notice them maybe they should stop acting like RINOs.

“Notice how Ted and the other candidates are being ignored by the press right now.”

what speeches did Ted give today?

There is plenty of coverage about Ted and the NYT. When is Ted’s next campaign speech?

Donald could well bring out the conservative base in historic numbers. If he does, it’s possible that the Republicans could pick up Senate and House seats that nobody sees coming.

Sixty-seven Republican senators could erase a lot of Obola’s “legacy” in short order.

Things are getting exciting.

If this keeps up, they’re going to have to assassinate Donald. They’ll have no choice.
