Shortly before Scott Walker was re-elected Wisconsins Governor for the third time in four years, I made the case that if Walker prevailed Republicans should nominate him as their presidential candidate right then and there. Since January, Walker has been at or near the top of most public opinion polls of preferred standard bearers for the GOP in 2016, and today he officially launches his White House bid, making him the 15th Republican to join the field. While this field is quite crowded, I believe it will soon become apparent that Scott Walker stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Here are the six reasons why I believe Walker will not only win the GOP nomination, but be elected President in November 2016.

Conclusion
Obviously all of this is far easier said than done. Walkers opponents in the Republican field arent going to roll over and play dead for him nor should they. Should Walker continue to resonate with Republican voters, his opponents will go at him with everything theyve got. Yet they cant take away the fact that Walker has been a successful conservative governor in a blue state during the Obama era and has been twice re-elected in the space of four years despite the slings and arrows from the liberal hate machine. If that hasnt prepared him for the Republican primary season and the presidential election, nothing will.
I believe the combination of his status as a middle class non-college graduate, his ability to talk to people and not at them, the good judgment to choose his battles wisely, a calm and reasonable demeanor that will appeal to Republicans and non-Republicans alike, his basic decency and the wherewithal to withstand the liberal hate machine will result in Scott Walker being elected the 45th President of the United States.

Many thanks :-)
The handicap is with those who really care about such nonsense to the point they will abandon someone for it - not with the candidate. Clinton had charisma and many (God knows why) think Obama has charisma.
I'll take track record and core beliefs over charisma any day.
Cruz/Walker are my choices in that order and I refuse to be sucked in with the naysayers who find all sorts of immature and petty reasons to detract from either of them - no wonder the Left is winning - we are comprised of far too many shallow petty morons.
Scott Walker For America
Walker...I like what I’m seeing.
Walker seems to me to have as much or more “charisma” as any of the other candidates sans Trump. He seems pleasant enough but deceptively tough. I mean the way he hung in there with his capitol building occupied and the unions in full meltdown mode. And then won the recall elections!
The guy has chops!
Sadly, you are right .
Walker is your typical Cheap slave labor bag boy for the DC elites and Crony capitalist Phony Trade deal promoter.
He is part of the Crony capitalist - Amnesty shill party but so is Cruz
the Gop is dead.
What do you think of Walker’s hiring of Brad Dayspring, the creep who stole the Mississippi election from Chris McDaniel? And other McCain goons?
“I prefer Cruz but would happily vote for Walker in the general election.”
Me, too
TRUMP Full meal deal.
Walker Nothing burger.
A Walker-Cruz ticket could well prove unbeatable.
Liberals & MSMers would go full foaming savages on them & produce a powerful positive backlash.
The tested tough administrator and the bearer of Reaganite conservatism: what a combination.
Really something to behold - all the Democrat plants who are posting here nay-saying Walker’s Presidential potential.
Walker’s won repeatedly in a state where the unions were constantly going for his throat. He needs to pick up his charisma, but he’s a proven winner
“4) He does not have a college degree.”
A definite plus since it means he cannot possibly be a Harvard graduate. We don’t need another one of those.
Finally! He’s had his sneakers on for a while, doing warmup stretches, but it’s nice to see him get going, officially.
I think W. Bush announced in July 1999 but we’re at the point now that, absurdly, a July entry into the race is considered late.
“He seems (at this point) to be lacking charisma”
The understatement of the year. :-)
What do you think if Walker uses Brad Dayspring and his tactics against Jeb, Rubio and the other RINOs? If Dayspring will not do it, he gets fired and discredited.
The only people who think Walker has no charisma are those who do not know him or care to get to know him.
The guy is a crowd magnet, riding a Harley, cooking BBQ and mixing with ordinary folks.
These supposed “conservative” Governors from Northern Leftists States always turn out so well.
Don’t like it. Think it was a bad move. But still consider Walker’s upside to be heads and shoulders above any donk’s. Can’t say that about Bush et al.
I fear that it was not only a BAD move, but a telling one. What real conservative would hire this creep?
