“Robert Gates, who is BSA president, told the group’s national meeting that the ban on gay adults needed to end, saying it was no longer sustainable.”

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Not sustainable?

It means 2 things -

1. National BSA HQ in Irving, TX, needs Fortune 500 $$$ donations to keep the lights on. The Human Rights Campaign, founded in 1980, has completely penetrated the Fortune 500 board rooms.

2. National BSA will no longer be able to stand up to the threatened lawfare that the LGBT contingent will bring.
