Trump is resonating with the 20 something crowd. I personally love to hear him bash and belittle the media. After McCain and Romney, if the republicans don’t get a true fighter then they deserve to fold. I’m disgusted by McConnell and Boehner. Bring on a third party after this loss, it’s time for a change.

How many elections will republican conservatives go through before they figure out the party leaders have no intention of running a conservative for president. I’m 68 and I’m done. I’ll vote for a conservative I don’t care if it’s a 4th or 5th [arty. It’s time to have a conservative party and make the rebus the third p[arty.

Agree. The success of these reality shows is self-evident of Trump's resonance. He is brash, egotistical, and entertaining. He is not in the mold of the traditional politicians who are controlled by consultants and handlers and afraid of the media. The question is will he survive against the elites of both parties and the politics of personal destruction. The more successful he becomes, the greater the scrutiny.

That is true for Dems who vote. There are lots who don’t. They are up for grabs.

I agree. I am 72. I will no longer hold my nose and vote for the GOPe candidate. I stopped giving to the RNC years ago. I give to candidates I support only. The only real solution is a conservative party. The Uniparty is destroying this country.

Not sure about that. Assuming the GOP remains in control of both houses of Congress, I do think it would provide amnesty for all of the illegal aliens in the country.

I have never voted third party in my entire life and I am not starting now. A third party Trump candidacy would all but guarantee HRC getting elected, and she is far more radical than Bill. Bubba had to get elected to office in Arkansas, and that fact alone kept him on a more centrist path. The Clintons have long since abandoned Arkansas and are now based in the northeast. Further, Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders effect on the race is pushing HRC even further to the Left. I see nothing but disaster if HRC is elected. And of course Bubba will be back in the Oral Office doing what he does with cigars and interns nestled underneath his desk. The idea of Bonnie and Clod back in the White House after they ransacked the place and turned it into a frat house on par with something out of the movie Caligula is enough to make me vomit.

An amnesty will destroy the country with the stroke of a pen. What difference does anything else make?

Meant to say I do NOT think a GOP controlled Congress would pass an amnesty bill granting amnesty to all of the illegal aliens in this country, unless they want to just hand the entire country including their own jobs over to the Dems.

They were ready to do it once. Amnesty has passed twice in the Senate--2006 Hagel-Martinez (GOP controlled) and 2012 the Gang of 8 bill with 14 GOP senators voting for it.

I think it will pass if another President Bush is in the office or Hillary. The pressure is growing as Reps become more and more fearful of the coming Hispanic wave. They will want to make the issue go away. Even Cruz supports legalization without citizenship. Legalization is amnesty.

That could happen.

I don’t believe Trump is the person to stop it.

I’m not altogether sure if he’s going to go all of the way and file the necessary paperwork and financial disclosures required to proceed with his presidential campaign.

Do your background checks on the RINO’s running for President, then tell me about Trump!

The RINO candidates operate just like the liberal socialist most Americans despise, then tell us how conservative they are while running for President. Trump has not lied to the American people so far in his run for President!

RINO candidates Grahmnesty, Bush, Huckabee, etc., tell you what they think you want to hear, always careful not to inflame the opposition, or say anything that might sound offensive about Obama, or the illegal foreign Nationals in this country illegally, then, once in office, all bets are off and they assume liberal socialist policies!

Personally, I don't give a $hit what Trump did prior to running for President as a businessman. I am listening to what he has to say NOW and so far I have not heard him lie to a single American in his run for President and his truth is inflaming the GOPe to the point they are embarrassed exactly where I want them to be! The GOPe should be ashamed of themselves for the horse$hit they have helped Obama and the demorats who are destroying this country!!!!

Joke post?
The only thing that guarantees a Hilary Clinton victory is a Jeb Bush nomination. By drastically taking down the Jebsters poll numbers, Donald Trump has probably done more to help secure an eventual Republican victory as anyone else.

I live in New York, most of my friends are Democrats, black or blue color workers. You'd be surprised how many of the them actually agree with Trump on securing the border and stemming the flow of Mexican illegals who just keep coming here whenever they want, commit any crime they want and directly or indirectly take jobs from low skill black workers.
There was a poll posted here today from USA Today I think, that had Trump polling better amongst blacks(and even legal Latino voters) than Jeb Bush is.

First of all, I’m not backing any of the RINOs/GOPEs.

Secondly, while it is fair game to examine the backgrounds of all of the other GOP presidential candidates, we should not closely examine Trump’s background and past positions and political donations?

It is interesting that your post about Trump is almost identical to the screed RINO rove was putting out about Trump on the Fox News Sunday.

Just saying.

I’m wondering if Trump is being held to a different set of standards than the rest of the GOP field.

Just saying.

I live in CA, and the Hispanic community here is about as enthusiastic for Trump as the Jewish community is for AH or the black community is for David Duke.

I happen to agree with Trump’s (current) position on illegal immigration. But if you are opposed to illegal immigration you are branded a racist. At least here in the People’s Republic of CA.
