My prayers go with all parents who forbid their children from entering a sex oriented group.
We were lucky in that our son earned his Eagle Rank back in 2010. We did pull our daughter out of “Girl” scouts a long time ago. She agreed with our reasoning. After the scouts allowed gay boys, I figured the next step would be gay leaders. I resigned from my leadership position in our local troop and sent a letter to the BSA HQ with my reasons for resigning. Didn’t get an answer and didn’t expect to.
The Fox radio morning guys (in my area) were all for it. One said he would let his son go camping with a homosexual because open homosexuals are not pedophiles, only closeted ones. I think he’s a fool. I was shocked by the comment and turned them off for the rest of their show. I can’t respect that position and it taints everything else they might say into forever.
