You can count those on probably one hand. 99% of those voicing their opinion are like me, wanting to honor their ancestors who served, and also preserve traditions that are true and conservative. And honestly those who call for reforming the confederacy are stating in in vented anger, and sure don't agree with the practice of slavery.
Oh I get that completely.
And yes it’s only a handfull here.
None the less the element remains.
That’s why the squishy moderates are bolting or rolling over on the matter like other FR posters.
And the liberals wont be happy with a few snatch and grabs of flags off of private property either.....they wont be happy until mobs show up and burn people out.
For me this is a matter of free expression and Historical preservation and I can easily make that disticntion without supporting the confederacy.....but then again I’m not a squishy moderate.
