Alpheus Starkey Williams only claim to fame seems to be in repeatedly getting his butt kicked by General Lee but he did get a cool statue out of it.
It was mostly Jackson that kicked his butt(and who’s butt didn’t Stonewall kick?), but he did pretty well at Gettysburg and under Sherman in the march on Atlanta and through to the sea.
