Should Trump leave the primary contest at some point, Cruz is also angling for his endorsement or at least lingering goodwill among the conservatives who have rallied to Trumps side as he has revived the hard-line wing of the GOP on immigration, the Republicans said. The GOP has a hard line wing on immigration? Really? When did this happen?

The “hard-line wing of the GOP on immigration” can be interpreted two ways.
1. A hard-line on sending the illegals back to where they came from.
2. A hard-line on giving the illegals full citizenship which includes voting rights.
My bet is on #2.
