Still, it can be a useful comparison to turn on the homo lobby. It is a proven fact, for example, that all people with Native American blood (including me) have a weakness which predispose us toward alcoholism and it is not a choice, just a fact because our bodies have not had the hundreds and even thousands of years of evolutionary history to develop the tolerance of those with European blood.
So if you apply the popular homosexual argument to our people, you'd say that society needs to accept alcoholism, especially among Native Americans, as natural and accept it. Maybe even buy us the low cost booze. This would prevent of from drinking cologne, wood alcohol and other harmful substances.
FWIW, I took the pledge the day BO was sworn into office and haven't touched a drop since.
Sorry.
Drinking and smoking are both acceptable in moderation and at the proper places and times. Sodomy is unacceptable at all times.
School children are not being taught how to drink or how to smoke. Nor are they encouraged to accept those who do - especially with the demonization of smokers these days.
But sodomites? They, and their government bu++ buddies, actively pursue the child’s acceptance of homosexual perversion, have published children’s books about it and teach acceptance and tolerance of it. That is unacceptable!
P. S. Good for you being “on the wagon”!
The gays who are “our brothers in Christ” are those who have repented and are trying to stop practicing their sinful lifestyle. Gays who are unrepentant are either not Christians and/or should be expelled from the church, just like unrepentant adulterers. See 1 Corinthians on how Paul said to deal with unrepentant sinners.
Other than that, his article is almost exactly the same talk that I have given to high school Sunday School classes. It really opens the eyes of kids who have only heard the other side. And if the government is going to be against smoking and obesity, then certainly it should be against the practice of homosexuality. That is his point, and is also my point in my talk.
