That’s the problem. It is only 9%. If it were 25% or more we would not have all 3 branches of the federal government colluding with educational and media institutions to implement a tyrannical and oppressive rule over our lives.

Wait lets put this in perspective. There are around 89 to 90 firearms for every 100 people in the US. They are not all spread like peanut butter, so about half the homes have firearms. Still to say that 9% of violent people have access to firearms means that things are really much better than they could be.

To say that violent actions should be viewed as something to watch for in issuing firearms is kind of strange as the federal requirements associated with the FBI background check include domestic violence, felonies, etc. So if violent people are not being screened away from getting firearms, it is only because police and the legal system are not prosecuting violent crime and/or are settling for plea-bargins to lesser charges. That is a justice problem not a gun control problem.

A lot of them are criminals who carry illegally. Let’s do the math 9% x 1.5% = .135% of angry people who carry.

Let’s say 300 million people over 14. That means .00135 x 300,000,000 = 405,000 angry people who sometimes carry a firearm.

I bet most of them are concentrated in the urban areas that are the crime centers.

And those are the ones that say they do.

Gosh, all those liberal protesters and black rioters that have outbursts of anger, break or smash things, or get into physical fights must have guns! Same with those black bigots like Sharpton, he’s always screaming his head off. Time to round them up and take their guns! (You rarely if ever see conservatives doing riots and carnage.)

What about all the angry, impulsive people who own knives and baseball bats? Should we prohibit them from owning these things; issue plastic cutlery perhaps.

What about people who have trees? Branches can make great clubs..

What about people with automobiles - they also can make great weapons.

Not to mention people with kitchen knives, scissors, knitting needles, hammers, bottles, gasoline, flour, rope, stairs.........
