The New York Times published an embarrassing look at what went on behind the scenes during the long, long months of nuclear negotiations with Iran. Apparently, it involved a good deal of Iran shouting at the hapless U.S. team and declaring its demands non-negotiable, while Team Obama threw in one towel after another.
One by one, the roadblocks to a nuclear accord between Iran and the United States had been painstakingly cleared. But as the negotiations went into their third week in the neoclassical Coburg Palace hotel this month, a major dispute lingered over whether a ban on Irans ability to purchase conventional weapons and missile technology would remain in place.
The American delegation, led by Secretary of State John Kerry, insisted on extending the ban. But Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian foreign minister and his countrys chief negotiator, was opposed. Backing him were the Russians and Chinese, equal parties in the talks, who saw a lucrative market in selling arms to Tehran.
A compromise was struck that fully satisfied neither side: a five-year ban on the sale of conventional weapons and an eight-year ban on ballistic missiles.

John Kerry curled up in the fetal position, hoping the shouting stops soon.
Him and his stupid boss will be singularly responsible for a nuclear arms race in the middle east.
Reagan would have walked away and told China and Russia to stuff it too.
not necessarily. Obama wants Israel gone, and needed to give Iran the means. Kerry simply put in ear plugs.
I’m sure Iran considers BO a gift from Allah.
Kerry got yelled at. That qualifies him for another Purple Heart, right?
You’re probably right.I just envision Kerry as a feckless pussy who would cower like a whipped dog.
What negotiations it was just an Obama give a gift to Iran program.
When the Barry enabled axis of evil joins up in attempt to eliminate Israel the divine smackdown will be a thing of beauty to behold upon its enemies. OZero and Lurch sKerry will go down in shame as their legacies. So be it.
I am afraid we just opened Pandora’s box. The Saudis, Egypt , etc will buy a-bombs from Pakistan and /or India and all hell will break lose. Several European countries are already eying close cooperation with Russia and want to ensure Russia will take over as protectorate from the US, at the forefront is Germany where the majority of it’s citizens don’t trust us anymore.
This of course will destroy the Euro zone as well as Nato. sadly, I see a worldwide conflict of great proportions and we are very vulnerable because we decreased our military strength and continue eroding it. I just pray we will get over the next 18 months with this administration in power. Our Millenials will not fight, they will protest in the streets against America for bigger handouts while there is nothing to give anymore.
I would welcome it. I would cheer for it. The image of tens of thousands of Satanic Iranians vaporized, burned, mutilated would be a dream come true.
******
Hillary vs. the Iranians: And the Democrats want us to believe that President Hillary will have the stamina, courage, and strong backbone to handle the Iranian mess with ease once Obama is gone? I don't think so.
Does the shouting count as another Purple Heart opportunity for Lurch?
They misspelled “hopeless”.
Just because the Iranians were chanting “death to America” doesn’t mean there’s any cause for alarm.
We are soooo screwed
Pussies. They taught the moslem world how to get anything they wanted.
The first screaming yelling tirade, they should have walked out and only returned with tightened demands.
Imaging if Gorby had have tried this with Reagan. *as Reagan sat there with a 38 snub in his briefcase)
Like dude, stop the negative vibes, man. You might mess up my karma. Where is my tricycle ?
