As I have been pointing out in other threads on the Trump/ McCain exchange, the issues as to what was actually said, and the way it was said, is to trivialize the Presidential campaign. The Trump comment may or may not be completely apt; it is no more serious in the context of what McCain has been saying over the past decade, about those of us, who want a Conservative immigration policy, than a Playground insult exchange.
A real issue involving the American military, is the Obama policy--even in the face of repeated threats and warnings of coming attacks--in making our young men at arms serve as targets in "gun free zones." If that is not a 1,000 times more serious than someone insulting John McCain back, just what is?
