I canceled my subscription in 1973, was working for JPL at the time and every reputable scientist I knew said it was turning into political CRAP.

it sucks up way too much CO2, and our food crops die. Sounds sucky to me.


No problem; we can chew on the tasteless fern...provided there’s enough CO^2 left to keep the thing alive.

Of course, now there’s not a lot of other things that were just as cute & cuddly, that existed then.
