I back up Trump on this for sure. He was helping military vets for years.
Here is Trump’s article:
I’m a veteran and this doesn’t really matter to me. McCain has done nothing about the borders, Arizona in particular, and veterans in AZ are dying while waiting months/years for appointments.
McCain called Trump’s Phoenix supporters “crazies”.
McCain called Tea Partiers “Hobbits”.
McCain called Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and a few other GOP senators “whacko birds”.
The RNC should have been calling down Juan on each of those occasions if they want to make comments on the statements of political figures.
Trump gave Juan McCain more respect than he deserves as far as I’m concerned.
Let me get this straight
McCaine said Trump was exciting the crazies..
This hurt Trumps feelings so he said something that sounded like Mc Caine was not a hero , or maybe he really said Mc Caine was a hero.... but now it turns out the real problem was not what Mc Caine said about crazies, it is that
Mc Caine has not been a good Senator and looked after veterans and oh yea we need Obama-care for veterans.
The last I looked Mc Caine was not running for President...so why does Trump care what he does or did ?...and if the real problem is Veteran’s Affairs, other than tell us that he (Trump) loves veterans what is it Trump proposes to do about it ?
I get the feeling that there is no there there (like the hair)
... and then immediately retracting and clarifying that remark, saying that McCain WAS a war hero (Trump said this three times) or was PERHAPS a war hero (Trump said this once.) Trumps comments make more sense in context, which is probably why so many propagandists took them out of context.
Here's the YouTube video:
Trump is showing the GOPe how to fight...for that he has my respect.
He could brave this out, another event-filled week like this past week and sometimes people ride out bad stuff. I don’t agree with the Donald on what he said; I would not dare say that about McCain’s military service but as for serving the nation as a Senator, McCain has been dour as well as his own name-calling, it seemed like he jumped on Michelle Bachmann as well for talking about possible Muslim extremist infiltration in the government. Bachmann probably had a valid point.
This veteran does not care for McCain (but I respect his service). And, I absolutely do NOT trust Democrat-in-hiding Trump.
.
McCain was a prisoner of war in the service of his country. For that he deserves our respect and appreciation. Always and forever, God bless him.
However! That does not mean McCain is not a bit unstable emotionally, a bit isolated and confused about the current state of the nation, or a bit old-fashioned in his ideas of what is good for the USA.

Earl Hopper spent 30 years with the Army in Airborne Special Services and with Army Intelligence and he was a founding member of the National League of Families, dedicated to returning living POWs and MIAs of the Vietnam War.
He and those interviewed purport that the narrative propagated by McCain, of his five and a half years as a Prisoner of War in North Vietnam is about as far from the truth as one could possibly imagine. They allege that McCain, from the very first moments of his capture behaved as a COLLABORATOR and propaganda tool for his North Vietnamese captors.
McCain is described as engaging in no less than 30, and up to 38 anti-American propaganda broadcasts for Radio Hanoi during the period of his captivity. Far from the image of the dedicated American “hero” sweating it out in a North Vietnamese prisoner’s “hotbox” for five and half years, McCain was observed by fellow prisoners to be receiving special treatment by his captors, who were fully aware of his father’s and grandfather’s 4-star Admiral positions with the US Navy.
Not a single contemporary captive interviewed here ever witnessed McCain’s alleged “torture” at the hands of his jailers. The consensus opinion of the other POWs in McCain’s camps was that McCain was actually NEVER tortured by the North Vietnamese.
McCain’s disgraceful and wholly reprehensible conduct (along with that of John Kerry) during the 1991-93 Senate Committee on POW/MIAs, where McCain made massive efforts to block the release of classified documents and is described the person who did the most harm to the movement of families who wanted to rescue any remaining loved ones.
McCain is described by those interviewed in this clip as perhaps the person who did the most to quash this movement and they suspect that this was because he didn’t want the truth to be revealed by them.
To them, his actions leave no doubt that McCain is a traitor to this country and its veterans and especially, to the families of POWs and MIAs.
