If being gay is not a choice, why so much proselytizing?
American Thinker ^ | 7/20/15 | Newsmachete

Scott Walker was asked whether being gay was a choice. This was important to ask because homosexuals are an estimated 1%-2% of the population (not including transvestites who declare themselves gay, which actually makes them straight), so I understand the need to constantly talk about this little group at the expense of issues affecting the other 98%.

So Walker was asked whether being gay is a choice and so far, unlike other gay-topical questions, he has only given one answer, which is "I don't know."

But what I want to know is, if being gay isn't a choice, why is there such an incredible amount of gay proselytizing in the schools and in the media and on film and TV and books? After all, if people are born gay, why do we need these steady streams of reminders how great it is to be homosexual? Whether it’s an American University art exhibit made with homosexual blood, cartoons for toddlers featuring princes marrying each other, articles in the media about gay events like a homosexual rodeo, the State Department picking an "ambassador to homosexuality", product advertisements like Tylenol promoting lesbianism, forcing firefighters to march in a gay parade, or letting soldiers fly the homosexual flag over military bases, there seems to be a tremendous propaganda effort to promote this behavior which is supposedly preset at birth.

Orientation is not a choice.

Gender is.

Figure that out.

.....advertisements like Tylenol...

The worst most recent example was Expedia and I promptly sent them a note (with a link to the offending commercial) telling them that I will never ever use their products again....

It’s a choice which leads down the road to spiritual destruction. The farther one goes, the less likely they will turn back, and greater the chance they will embrace the fate they’ve chosen. But to convince themselves they are “happy” with their choice, they must convince others as well. Misery loves company.

So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel — let the reader understand — then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Orientation is not a choice.

It is however a symptom of a serious mental disease IF that person feels "oriented" towards the same sex.

Gender is.

Why are we talking about hardware here.

People do not have genders, they have sexes. And there are exactly two of them. Male and female. With extremely rare exceptions this covers all of humanity. You either have XX chromosomes and are a woman or you have XY chromosomes and are a man. All other cases are birth defects which should not affect public affairs in any way.

Figure that out.

It's as easy as checking in your drawers. (with very very rare exceptions) If you have an "innie", you are a woman. If you have an "outie" you are a man. Piece of cake.

That's a good pic + Scripture, and I get what you're saying...

But I never thought of the White House as "the holy place." I do think of a woman's womb as a Holy Place, because it is the sanctuary of Life where God repeats His miracle of bringing "images and likenesses" of Him, into being. And to me, abortion is the Abomination of Desolation in the Holy Place.

I guess there's a lot of "abominations" and "desolations" to choose from these days. The triumph of the Culture of Death. May God help us resist to the end.

Let me clarify, then...

Leviticus 18:22 - "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

Biologically, homosexuals cannot reproduce, and are barren ("desolate").

We have just seen the Left redefine marriage to include sodomites - an institution known as "holy matrimony", a holy place in the Christian faith.

So, as in "So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel — let the reader understand..."

Isn’t it heart warming to know that if Walker and Tonette occupied the White House the Gaylas will continue?

They will continue their vacationing (perhaps at Camp David) and hosting of parties with their dearest gay friends and this will be further thrown in the faces of the Christian voters who were deceived into putting them there.

It’s amazing to see how many liberals are anti-science.

“I was born gay because I feel it even though there is no evidence supporting it”
“Bruce Jenner is a woman because he says so even though his DNA says he is a man”.

“Is being heterosexual a choice?”

It has nothing to do with choice. We choose to have sex with someone. I am not attracted to obese women but it doesn’t mean I am not attracted to women.

PS What about conjoined twin hermaphrodites?

Would that be a bisexual built for two?
Sorry, I couldn't resist...

Seriously, there are cases where the "Plumbing" is not installed properly.
This condition is usually correctable by the appropriate surgery.

As Mrs. Peet says: People have sex, words have gender.
