Well, we already knew Trump probably wasn’t the strongest Christian. He runs casinos and only recently changed his views on abortion.
Still he answered honestly that counts for something. He says he loves God. And he has stated he will defend Christian interests. He’s called out Obama for allowing Muslims from the middle east to immigrate but blocking Christians from immigrating.
It does sound like he needs to work on his relationship with God and understand the role of forgiveness better.
Is it a concern? Yes. It could impact his role model. It could impact a number of things. Is it a deal killer? No.
