This is a name-recognition and celebrity poll. Most people are not even paying attention yet, and won’t till at least this fall. Trump is a joke. There’s no way he’s going to be the nominee. There’s no way he’s ever going to be the president.

Trump will never be president and I still wonder if he’s not a plant to help Hillary. However, I love that he’s bringing attention to the fraud McCain and to all the gopE that kiss McCain’s ass every day.
For a long time Viet Nam vets couldn’t join the VFW. Then they realized all their members were dying so they had to get some new members somewhere.
It’s an organization that has outlasted it’s usefulness. If it ever had any other than to be a place to go smoke and drink.

Here is the problem Trump would have with the finances.
A president must put his finances into a blind trust. Blind Trust means he has nothing to do with their management; he has no control over them, or even knowledge of them.
So much of Trump’s fiances are wrapped around him and who he is personally. You stay or office at the Trump Tower, golf or have a huge party at the Trump National, it’s all about Trump, in a good way. When he is at his course in Florida he is constantly meeting, greeting everyone. It’s all him! It’s like watching Patton move out in Operation Cobra.
It’s not ego. It’s leadership and business skill. People want to be around him, in a deal with him.
So much of Trump’s wealth is because of who he is PERSONALLY. Wouldn’t work in a blind trust.
That said, in 4 weeks he has made himself a very serious player on the national stage. If he stays a player, and not the Flavor of the Month, he can control so much WITHOUT having the public limitations of being president.
Washington hasn’t seen anything like him since LBJ was Senate Majority Leader, (not president) and played Capitol Hill like a piano.
In the meantime, El Chapo has offered $100 mil dead or alive.
Lindsey still has a shot at President of the local Bingo club!!
I see your point, but I have no doubt his interests would survive a term. But would Trump survive it?
Then again, what would keep him from resigning and turning it over to his VP (Cruz).
Right, I am a troll. In March, when I joined, I knew that Trump was going to announce his candidacy on June 16. I was just waiting for him to get on board so I could start bashing him. Right.
The last time that I looked there were 16 Republican candidates. I didn’t realize that we all had fall in line behind you and get on the bandwagon for your personal favorite.
You think we are ‘painting in’ what we think we want him to say, as the Obama voters did?

The rest of us actually listen to what he’s saying.
A lot of detractors objections can be boiled down to two words “He’s lying”.
