When you clear your caches you are deleting all the picture and video files you have previously loaded. Then when you go to Facebook all of that stuff has to be re-fetched by your computer. That is why it appears to freeze, it's really busy.

Unless you are trying to hide what you are doing on the net there is no reason to clear your cache.

I only use FB for political postings. Pictures of silly kittens and puppies, and pictures of my garden. Consider using a tablet.

I am not trying to hide anything but I do not like the FB gremlins on my computer pulling ads in the stream that correspond to where I have been on the net. So FB uses my files to cache what I post for pics? HOw would I clear that file from FB. How does FB know to connect up to these files before I sign in?
