We were caretakers on their estate for a few years, good people, nice kids! I had no idea who he was, he was rarely home when we work working in the yard, etc. Then one night my mom called and told me he was on Columbo — I loved that episode!!! Funny thing was, the next day I opened the door to go out and he was standing there, just about to knock. All I could say was, I just saw you on Columbo last night! Over and over!! I think was 20 or 21?? Best part is that he was coming over to invite us to an evening performance in NY — limo picked us up, the whole works! We stayed a few years until we could save to buy a house, when we left my brother and his wife moved in and did the same thing. They helped a lot of young couples get their financial feet on the ground, and I will ALWAYS be grateful!

Rest in peace Theodore — and thank you for blessing us with the grace of your estate — it was a perfect start to our marriage! Changed our lives forever!!!
