Sen. Ted Cruz is planning to use a highway funding bill to add sink a long-term Iran nuclear deal reached earlier this month.
The Texas Republican, who is running for president, will offer an amendment to the bipartisan, six-year roads bill that "ensures no Iranian nuclear deal unless Iran recognizes Israel and frees American hostages," his office said on Tuesday.

Senator Mike Lee said they were presented with the bill at 3pm and told it would be voted on at 4pm .... I wonder if the bill was passed or not?

The Congressional deal on Congress' approval of the Iran Deal has already been made...and I believe Cruz signed onto it.
The GOPe already made a back room deal with Obamaon most major issues.They gave up the right to stop Iran. Vote out the Republican traitors, or the country is finished.

Absolutely! The enemedia is glossing over the fact that Iran is screaming “Death to America!” having won every concession from homobama. It will be difficult for them to trash the Cruz amendment without also bringing to light the utter failure of the homobama/kerry sellout to Iran.
What is VERY INTERESTING here is why Iran would NOT release the American hostages, since that would assure them the capability of finally putting an end to the “Great Satan” as they call us.
The only answer that comes to my mind is that Obama simply never asked for their release.
Forget about the highway bill. The Republicans can only scuttle this deal if they get Schumer and his cronies to vote against it. Obama spent all afternoon on the Upper Westside in Manhattan with Schumer’s financial backers convincing them to pressure Schumer to vote with Obama. Should be an interesting few weeks. Doubt Schumer will be sleeping well anytime soon.
Democrats did this sort of thing all the time against Reagan and the Bushes.
They did it without hesitation, and over any little thing.
But our side is too polite to do it. If Mr. Cruz does, there will be more screeching from his side of the aisle than from the opposite side.
Why would they have only an hour to read and vote? Isn’t it McConnell’s responsibility to make sure this doesn’t happen?

Well Odunga will somehow out maneuver Turkey Neck and the Weepy lush. If by some miracle he doesn’t, chump change for Iran to lie about Israel recognition and four meaningless hostages for Nukes and 180 billion. I suspect Cruz knows this is weak sauce and more do with getting the marxist party on record with the votes for 2016.

Nope not too polite. Bribed. As in getting their pockets stuffed with cash by K Street. The beltway GOP is happy to pimp out Main Street for a pile of cash because unlike the Dems they stand for nothing.
