Trump's name-calling must end: Nikki Haley - South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on Tuesday came down hard on Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump, saying that the real estate mogul has gone too far with his personal attacks on political rivals, including him calling US Senator Lindsey Graham an "idiot" during a rally.
"It's wrong," Haley said Tuesday during a Republican governors forum at the Aspen Institute in Aspen, Colorado. Haley added that though Trump is a supporter and friend, she said, "he's creating a very combative tone. Every day I feel like I'm hearing Mr. Trump attack another person personally."
Republicans have been facing trouble in dealing with Trump, who is one of 16 seeking the party's nomination for president. Trump gained in Republican opinion polls after he refused to apologize for saying Mexico is sending rapists and criminals to the U.S. The remarks sparked a huge outrage with Latinos slamming Trump.
Addressing a campaign in Graham's home state of South Carolina on Tuesday, Trump read Graham's private mobile phone number. In his speech Trump called Graham an "idiot" after Graham called him a "jackass."
Trump was slammed by fellow Republicans after he said Saturday that Arizona Senator John McCain is not a war hero.
Actually Nikki, Trump was reciprocating to your friend Lindsey Graham’s calling Trump a Jackass. Nikki is not as bullet proof in SC as she was before she took down the Confederate flag down. So taking a first shot at Trump at this time is like taking a knife to a gun fight, risky!. When will people learn that messing with Trump can be politically dangerous? Lindsey tried it, now he has to get a new cell phone.
Trump, as I see it, is just following the modus operandi set forth by “dear leader” way back when, I.e. “Get in their faces”, and, “if they bring a knife, you bring a gun.”
The best way to handle a pesky fly, is to swat the $h!+ out of it.

What I think really hit the nerve was that Trump’s exposure of Lindy showed that he can expose all of them. Lindy sucked up to Trump for cash and then some years later calls him a jackass. Trump is setting a precedent of putting the DC pols on the defensive.

...and he called out Graham on Graham’s home turf, SC. I was in the hall and I know 95% of the people in that audience voted for Graham...did that stop Trump? Nope...and the reaction...cheers!!! Theoretically it doesn’t make sense, even when you see it with your own eyes. But whatever is happening, it is REAL.
Yes, that’s what got her where she is. But Trump is a third rail...and they don’t understand it. I wish Graham would have been sitting beside me yesterday when Trump showed Graham’s phone number. I would like to have seen his face. This was Graham’s home turf...and even though 95% of that audience voted for him, with the cheers and laughter, he would have felt very small and insignificant indeed. I look forward to Trump turning this power on aiming it at Obama and Hillary. That is coming next I bet.
