“The national debt has more than doubled under Obama and his minions—Including the Republicans who were elected to Congress to stop this nonsense.”

“If people who can’t manage money are going to categorized as “mentally defective,” the first place to start locking people up is DC.”

Bears repeating Arm. Thanks.

6. But the grand nostrum will be a public debt…

7. It must not be forgotten that the members of the legislative body are to have a deep stake in the game…

11. As soon as sufficient progress in the intended change shall have been made, and the public mind duly prepared according to the rules already laid down, it will be proper to venture on another and a bolder step toward a removal of the constitutional landmarks…

Socialism/totalitarianism is a “mentally defective” disorder. Witness history. Witness current events.

The key is, WHO decides if one is “mentality defective”? Obama and his commie pals would most certainly declare those who do not follow in lockstep with the party to be “mentally defective”.

If seniors are struggling financially, (due to the Obama economy), they will declare that senior “unable to handle their finances”.

The point is, second amendment has none of this as a requirement to bear arms. IMHO, seniors - more than anyone - need a means of protection, as they are usually seen as easy prey by punks, thugs, and film-flam artists.

Meanwhile, armed idiots are running the streets in places like Chicago, and Baltimore, with no end or enforcement in sight. They are your “mental defectives”, not people who have worked hard for 30 to 40 years and are trying keep what they’ve earned and dodge obamas death panels.

The regime is going to punch citizens in the chest one time too many, and they will just stop backing down.

Another lesson it teaches is, “you’re enslaved to the extent of the charity (entitlements) you receive”, and they’re recently changed social security to be an “entitlement”.

The elite DC crowd are exempt from the laws they pass, or phone in, or execute with pen or whatever.

Do the Clintons manage their own finances?

Do the Obamas manage their own finances?

Do the Kerrys manage their own finances?

Wills only work when you are dead. A Gun Trust is the best option for managing guns in this scenario.

That is true. I still worry that they are primarly looking to prevent transfer of ownership on a grand scale. I wonder if a trust would be sufficient to prevent such a thing.

Obama’s sons favorite targets need to remain armed at all times.

“...firearm collections worth many 10s of thousands of dollars. That’s a sizable investment. Does the government just come in and confiscate that lawful investment in real property?”

Look what they’ve done in New York state when a FOID holder dies & there’s no one else in the house with FOID. Cops show up & say, “Hand them over”.

As an incentive, Democrats and their doctors and lawyers will be pushing medical policy to name the elderly incompetent so they can take away their gun rights (and property).

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Barack Hussein Obama, 7/2/2008
They don’t call it a Civil Defense force, that would imply we need (or perhaps that we deserve) defense. The official name is National Civilian Community Corps.

I think of it as the NatCCC, or more simply, as the NatCs...

I believe that’s the plan and that the real goal is to remove the firearms and prevent them from being passed down in the family. I don’t believe old people, and I am one, are likely to misuse their firearms. I don’t consider using them in the face of confiscation to be misuse and I don’t believe those who adopted the Bill of rights would either.

This business is nothing but a scheme to disarm the future by denying the lawful transfer of ownership, a common practice in America for hundreds of years. Tpical Obama. It’s just a “common sense gun measure” that ultimately results in disarming law abiding citizens and does nothing to prevent gun violence.

There would have to ba a wholesale change in Federal Law to make use of a gun trust unworkable.

Laws don't mean anything to this administration. They have demonstrated that too many times. I agree that a trust is the safest course of action but I'm not sure enough people will establish one to make this EO completely irrelevant.
