Do you really think every cop, every time is polite to every person in LA? I’m sure all of those criminals there love their arresting officers and often go to their house for Sunday dinners..

You are naive. You completely failed to notice or recognize the racial tensions and the mood of the country towards government. It's changed dramatically. You clearly have no clue here. Like I mentioned earlier, it's as if you're living in 1951.

This was a non-threatening lone female traffic infraction stop. This became inordinately clear to this cop very quickly. He didn't handle it right. There was no discretion used here. This didn't need to happen. This cop wouldn't recognize common sense discretion if it hit him broadside on Interstate 10.

He clearly wanted to escalate this and that's exactly what he got.

He's supposed to be the professional who interacts with public, who is supposed to recognize what is a threat and what is not? No? He had no intention of doing any of that.

He was going to show her who was the boss, and who had the authority. So there ya have it.

This will cost the folks down there in Texas millions. Just raise the property taxes. Get the tax paying peons to pay for his pay for his untouchable authority.

Get your wallets out....

Racial tensions does not justify giving a black person a free ride. LEOs in TX treat everyone the same. A violator is a violator and nobody gets punished or free passes because of their color.

How can you use the ‘racial tensions’ argument, while complaining that cops are not doing enough against illegals??? Your ‘racial tension’ argument would prevent LEOs from going after the very illegals that you insist local cops should be deporting.

Since the cop didn’t violate the law this family will not be able to sue the department or the State even if he violated policy. TX has a good faith law so the family is out of luck.

She is the one who clearly wanted to escalate it, and that is exactly what she did when she started speaking to him in an angry manner.

And yes, he was the boss, and he had the authority. That’s the way it works.
