FYI...tasers are considered “less lethal” or “less than lethal” devices because they can, in rare circumstances result in death. They have never been considered “not lethal”. However, they are also not considered “lethal force” within the use of force continuum. He appropriately used the taser, within the law and within use of force guidelines.
Yeah well aware of the “less than lethal” jargon, I’m sure the hundreds dead unexpectedly, comforts them and families. Haha. Again, it’s unacceptable. Guidelines, policies go null and void on the street, in a deprivation of rights incident, when no initiated combative action is involved and officer safety not threatened — Watch where you point :)
