The problem isn't the kids, nor even the parents, the problem is that the government is failing to secure the borders and take reasonable measures to ensure those who come here are in good health.
Exactly! I guess the snark was a bit strong. However, I hope some grandparent, parent or other close relative was goaded to acion regarding vaccination. Yes, there are risks in vaccinating, but due to the very factors you cited the risk of infection is rising exponentially. The “herd immunity” is nigh well gone.
