CNBC – Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday.
The request follows an assessment in a June 29 memo by the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies that Mrs. Clinton’s private account contained “hundreds of potentially classified emails.” The memo was written to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.
It is not clear if any of the information in the emails was marked as classified by the State Department when Mrs. Clinton sent or received them.
But since her use of a private email account for official State Department business was revealed in March, she has repeatedly said that she had no classified information on the account.
The initial revelation has been an issue in the early stages of her presidential campaign.

Gotta admit that “criminal inquiry” request does put the pressure on.
But we are talking about Obama’s State and DoJ. So question is how chummy is it between Obama camp and Clinton camp. It is a domestic MAD.
Either way they come down on this, nobody (in their camp) will look good.

You may be right. As Bad News Hillary continue to fail to enchant American public (as dense as we are), we will soon see “draft so-and-so” in earnest.

What did she have to hide that was so evil, she didn’t even want her fellow Democrats to know about it?

She also combined personal business with State Dept business on her private email server, including accounts associated with Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. Because she thought she could maintain privacy over these accounts, and now she may be prosecuted for having confidential records on this private server (a la Gen Petraeus).
She should go scorched earth and bring Valerie Jarret and Hussein Obama down with her...
She had to have her private e-mail.
She had to have her private and secret spy operation in Libya.

This is about time. Anybody else would be in jail for having classified information on their personal computer.

The Democratic Party big shots may decide that Hillary is unelectable, and that so is Bernie. In that case they may tell Liz Warren to enter the race. She may be just as far to the left as Hillary and Bernie but doesn’t sound quite as shrill, and would bring in more women’s votes than Bernie just because she is a woman.
