Mitch McConnell isn't a second-rate joker ... his Constitutional title is "Senate Majority Leader" ...
I never called McConnell a second rate joker. The term I used was "second rate carny huckster". So, the Constitutional title of "Secretary of State" gives John Kerry some imprimatur of character and honor? Really? That's all it takes to become an honorable and decent person, a title?
Cruz owed McConnell at least one chance to be fair, and McConnell lied through his teeth.
Sorry, not in Washington DC. Giving anyone there any chance to be "fair" is begging to be rolled. If your own heart and the lips of your staff members say that something is pile of horses--t, why are you listening to anyone else if your own heart and your staff is telling you (correctly) the best vote for the country?
