It's a shocking tragedy. Horrifying. But, also, this family was allegedly "isolated" and "homeschooled." (The media loves to put those two words together. One neighbor said something about his son being in school with the oldest killer, so maybe the oldest was in school at some point, but the media isn't even asking about that.)
And the media has found a way to tie the story to firearms somehow. Some of the news reports claim a "box of ammunition" was scheduled for delivery to that house on Thursday.
The boy who called 911 as he was dying saved his 13yo sister, his 2yo sister, and possibly many other people because police arrival sent the killers running out of the house.
It's like the Department of Education gave him a script.
A lot of people with troubled kids will take them out or they are kicked out of traditional schools and so they homeschool them. It isn’t homeschooling’s fault.
Was the kid on any psychotic medications? That seems to be one of the most common connections with these type killers.
