I know. I hit the target about 9 out of 10 times. Quite a few were in the bull’s eye area. A zombie would have been hit six times every time I shot.
I’m a crack shot with a rifle. Just never shot a pistol much. I think the last time was in 1974 with a Saturday night special. You couldn’t hit a 55 gallon drum at 10 feet with that thing.
My girlfriend’s first shot of ANY gun was my 9mm Springfield XD.
She was shooting at a metal gong on the rifle range at 50 YARDS.
She hit it, first shot.
Modern handguns are quite accurate for their purpose.
When I first got my 9, I practiced for awhile then tried the following. I was alone on the rustic prairie range (don’t try this anywhere near other people.) I put up a target, and from 25 feet laid down and ROLLED like a log, unloading 17 rounds into the 1.5 foot x 1.5 foot target as I rolled. All 17 rounds hit paper.
Try a modern handgun. You’ll love it!
