Marinol sucks. It is a poor substitute.
There are about 80 terpenes in cannabis, many of which have been shown to help with pain, nausea, and inflamation. None of those terpenes is psychoactive, and all are legal in other plants. Myrcine occurs in mangoes, for instance, and limonene occurs in citrus fruits
