"New"?! Pot's been popular for about half a century now, and almost half of Americans have used it - there's no evidence that there is any reasonable way to do anything about pot either.

The same philosophical argument supporting legalized weed works for all other drugs too.

The philosophical argument, yes - the practical arguments I cite above, no.
