The state of Kentucky has begun imposing a religious test on volunteer pastor counselors in its youth division, insisting that they refrain from calling homosexuality “sinful” and dismissing those who cannot bend their religious faith to accommodate the state requirements.
The policy was uncovered by Liberty Counsel, which has sent a letter to Bob Hayter, commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice, demanding that the state religious test be dropped and that a dismissed counselor be reinstated.
“Liberty Counsel writes regarding the blatantly unconstitutional revocation of volunteer prison minister status of ordained Christian minister David Wells, who has provided voluntary spiritual counseling and mentorship to juvenile inmates under the control of the Department of Juvenile Justice. … This revocation was issued by Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center on the basis of the April 4, 2014, DJJ Policy 912, which mandates full DJJ support of homosexuality and transvestism.
“With no evidence of any violation of DJJ policy on Mr. Wells’ part, his volunteer status was revoked by the Warren RJDC superintendent because he could not sign a state-mandated statement that homosexuality was not ‘sinful,’ among other things,” the letter said.
The policy states that DJJ staff, volunteers and others “shall not imply or tell LGBTQI juveniles that they are abnormal, deviant, sinful or that they can or should change their sexual orientation or gender identity.”

As far back as the 60s, at least, the homosexual lobby started infiltrating organizations that formed the foundation of Judeo Christian Western Civilization.
Churches, schools, BSA/GSA, the military and also the American Psychiatric Assoc. they needed access to children, not just to use for their own depraved reasons but to corrupt the minds of future generations.
Sodomites almost destroyed the BSA as far back as the 60s when they weren't allowed in, costing them hundreds of millions in settlements, destroying morale and troops.

Again, not everything they don’t take on is a lost cause. You don’t understand case law or precedent apparently. They can win one kind of case that can then be used as precedent for other similar cases, and then they can send a letter to the offending party and they back down.
You don’t have to take every case if you can win one similar case and establish a precedent that can be applied to other similar cases. Often the other side does not want to go to court if it appears established case law isn’t on their side.

I understand business law well enough to know that:
To take a case that you probably won’t win will set the WRONG precedent making it harder to win a similar, but with differing circumstances, later. This is because your loss will become the precedent.
Part of knowing when to take the case or not is knowing the established case law beforehand. That knowledge figures into the decision to take the case or not.

Given the nature of this case, which is generally the kinds of cases these groups take, explain to me what you are thinking of, that would represent a legal situation a Christian in todays world finds himself in, that would not constitute a “good” case/be a “lost cause” case? I can’t think of one. Certainly none of the articles we see here about Christians having to go to court to protect their religious rights, they are not small cases or “lost cause” cases.
I would believe if it is a “small” case, these probably ARE the cases where Liberty Counsel just has to send a letter and the other side backs down.
Abortion.

Convetousness/sloth/unearned undeserved entitlements.
Engrained Hatred - racial or otherwise. Using it to stir people up against others.

You should read the news more often if you really can’t think of any “lost cause” situations. They aren’t cases, because no one is dumb enough to take them on.
I think that you are confusing a “good cause” (as seen by a Christian with no legal ability to fight it) with a “good case” (as seen by a Christian lawyer who understands the way the law works, as opposed to the way it works on TV).
Those “small” cases where a letter can make the other side back down are BIG cases to the other side, who also has the ability to send a letter and they do so with amazing success. The magic letter only works in situations with well-established case law and favorable precedents. The magic letter does not set precedents.
So a precedent is not set until both sides are willing to go to court and take it to the end. Then, the winner gets a favorable precedent. So, two opposing and competent attorneys are not going to fall for bluffs or posturing. But, they might agree to some settlement to prevent a loss. However, if one side has a good case, then he would be a fool to offer a settlement and and lose an opportunity for setting a precedent.

A pastor in Sweden was jailed for five months because he quoted the scriptures on homosexuality in his own church. It sounds like they send spies into the churches to see if anyone is uttering the forbidden words.
If they are being denied Christian council you can be sure that they will be given another kind of council such as homosexuality is a normal natural thing and anyone who says otherwise is a hater and bigot. That is an anti-Christian message. There is no neutrality on this issue.
