He hasn’t said he’s opposed to privatizing SS, either. Or, other means of giving individuals control over their own paid in $$.
I don’t see Trump as someone who’ll tolerate the continuance of unsustainable benefits...without some sort of reform/revision....to stop payouts to those who CAN but will NOT work.
Cleaning up the disability roles will be a great first step to helping SS. There are older (and not so old) folks who’ve paid in, after years of hard work, and don’t deserve to be cut off. A transition is needed...and Trump is just the one to come up with one.
