Trump (on CNN today): What Hillary is done is criminal
Breitbart ^ | July 26 2015 | Pam Key

Posted on 07/26/2015 8:51:39 AM PDT by WilliamIII

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Republican presidential candidate and billionaire business mogul Donald Trump said he will beat Hillary Clinton because her refusal to turn over her private email server in light of a congressional subpoena is “criminal.”

Host Jake Tapper pointed out that in the latest polls Trump would lose to Hillary Clinton in a head-to-head match up, to which Trump replied, “The fact is that what she has done is criminal. I mean what she has done is criminal. I don’t see how she can run because if the prosecutors who are all Democrats by the way, and that’s part of the problem with fairness here, they’re all Democrats, so they’re protecting her, but if you had an impartial prosecutor and they were honorable, and maybe they are, we’re going to find out but what she’s done is criminal.”

So true.

The real stalking horses will be exposed in the coming debate.

Hint. Trump and Cruz won’t be one of them.

Trump basically reads the Drudge headlines and blurts them out on the stump and on TV. He could care less about the media nuances and PC rules.

Totally agree. Trump was a businessman in New York State He had to pay his pound of flesh to the state liberals. I mean, Rush could pull up stakes and leave, Trump was in real estate. Kinda hard to move buildings to Florida. It's not right. But it is reality.

"...ask Trump about why he made campaign and foundation contributions to a criminal who he considers a friend."

Why? You working for the DNC? You sure act like it.

I have lots of friends who are "criminals." Some are even Christians who prefer partners of the opposite sex.

If those aren't crimes yet, wait a few weeks. The point is, if we attack every GOP-er we don't agree with 100%, we'll just be handing the Dems the election... again.

You sure that's what you want? Well, just keep up the great work.

Hillary has to be the nominee because she is the only democrat that could probably win. I think Jim Webb is the only other electable candidate.

"I think the problem with Trump is his massive ego."

Uhhhh, what? Name me one person who ever considered "running for president" whose ego wasn't already so huge that they actually felt they should RUN FOR PRESIDENT!!!! M

Your non-argument proves your handle, blather.

Why would a multi- billionaire like Trump waste his time and resources just to be a stalking horse for anybody else? Highly unlikely plus his ego is way too big to play a 2nd fiddle.

I still think that Donald is a loose cannon who will say plenty of dumb things to sabotage himself. But I cheer him every time he dishes it out to the MSM.

Hillary will not be the candidate.

******

Hillary vs. Iranian bullies: Sorry Hillary. But I can't help but think that those Iranian bullies---and leaders in other Muslim countries--- will eat you and you staff alive if you are elected President. Sorry.

Hillary, think about this: If Obama and Kerry can't handle those Iranian bullies in a tag team twosome, then I can't see any way that you could handle those bullies all by yourself, even if your husband Bill is always there to help you. Sorry.

What would be perfect is if Trump gets up and says, "I realize that Ted Cruz would be a better President than I would, and I encourage all my supporters to now support Ted Cruz."

It could happen!

Imagine if Hillary were Tom Delay.  Think he's still be on the street walking around freely?

He has answered that (without being asked) at just every appearance. “I donate to everybody - you have to do that if you’re in business. They all love me. Bill & Hill came to my wedding. I called them up and told them, come to my wedding, and they did. “

“I think the problem with Trump is his massive ego.”

To paraphrase that song, “Maybe it’s just an egomaniac we’re looking for.”

...if he’s motivated by mostly the right values. Look how far Obama’s massive ego has advanced the left’s agenda. Our side may need just as big an ego to start to undo some of that damage.

So the big outstanding question is, does Trump share a fair amount of our values?

“Your non-argument proves your handle, blather. “

Very few politicians have a TV program where the whole point is yelling at somebody, “you’re fired!”

Yes, it takes an ego to run for president. The job also requires it, to some extent. But, as in any population sample already selected for some characteristic, there are outliers. He’s so far away from the rest of the field that he defines a new category.

Another danger of that, is that he won’t play nice when he needs to. When LBJ wanted his Great Society passed, he invited (If I recall correctly) Everett Dirksen to his office and cut a deal with him to get his agenda through. Can you picture Trump doing that? I see Trump as an “I won the election” guy more in Obama’s mold.

But my biggest complaint is the support Trump has given Democrats on issues like health care.

You hit on something. At this point, Trump is a kingmaker.
